Brand & Validation Architect
Define what Tears stands for and prove it works.
Your work answers two questions: What is this brand? And how do we validate product-market fit before scaling? In Round 1 you will develop two deliverables simultaneously: the Brand Strategy and the Validation Strategy. For Brand Strategy, you define the core positioning, personality, and voice of Tears. You articulate what we stand for, what we stand against, and why Dutch nightlife should care. You set the provocative edge that differentiates us without crossing into territory that damages credibility. Every creative decision in Rounds 2 and 3 will reference your work. For Validation Strategy, you design the sequence of events that prove product-market fit. You define what hypotheses we test at each stage, what metrics prove success, and what results trigger go or no-go decisions. You create the framework that makes this venture investable. You work in parallel with the Business & Operations Architect. Your Brand Strategy must be complete and shared with all Round 2 participants before lunch. The Vector Designer, Copywriter, and all visual work depends on your clarity. Background required: Brand strategy experience, preferably in consumer products or hospitality. Understanding of lean validation methodologies. Ability to translate abstract positioning into concrete creative guidance. You should have defined brands before, not just executed someone else's guidelines.
