Your work answers two questions: Can this be a viable business? And can we actually make it? In Round 1 you will develop two deliverables simultaneously: the Business Case and the Production Strategy. For the Business Case, you build the financial model that proves Tears can sustain itself. You calculate market size, model unit economics across price points and volumes, project three-year financials, and define what funding is needed at each validation stage. You need to think like an investor who is skeptical but wants to believe. For Production Strategy, you map the entire pathway from raw miracle berry sourcing to finished product. You research suppliers, get real quotes, and calculate true cost-per-unit at different scales. You make the build-versus-buy recommendation with evidence. You work in parallel with the Brand & Validation Architect. Your outputs feed directly into the Imagineer and Expert work in Rounds 2 and 3. If your numbers are wrong or your production pathway is unrealistic, everything downstream breaks. Background required: Financial modeling experience, operations or supply chain knowledge, comfort with ambiguity and incomplete data. You should have built business cases before and know what investors actually look at.
