You are responsible for the digital presence that converts visitors into contributors and customers. Your work answers: What does our web presence look like, and does it actually work?
In Round 3 you develop two deliverables: Web Design and Web Development.
For Web Design, you create responsive landing page designs for three core pages: product showcase, Venture Nexus equity participation, and event-specific campaigns. Mobile-first since traffic comes from LinkedIn and social. Dark and light mode variants. Complete Figma designs with component systems, responsive breakpoints, and interaction notes.
For Web Development, you build and deploy the pages. Lightweight stack—static generation or low-code for quick updates. Analytics tracking for traffic and conversion measurement. Form capture for Venture Nexus applications. Basic CMS so non-technical team members can update content. Fast load times and strong Core Web Vitals scores.
You receive vector assets from the Visual Identity Expert and copy from the Content & Data Expert at the start of Round 3. You are working from components, not finished page designs—the full site build continues as a handoff after the production day. Your job is to establish the design system and get a functional MVP live.
Background required: UI/UX design skills in Figma. Front-end development proficiency—HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or experience with modern low-code tools. Understanding of conversion optimization and web performance. You should have shipped websites before, not just designed mockups.
