Product & Packaging Expert
Design what it looks like and what it tastes like
You are responsible for the physical product experience—what it looks like on shelf and what it tastes like in glass. Your work answers: What is the production-ready packaging, and what cocktails showcase the product best?
In Round 2 you develop two deliverables: Package Design and Flavor Design.
For Package Design, you create production-ready packaging artwork. Work from the physical prototypes created by the Product Development Imagineer to ensure your designs match real constraints and materials. Complete die lines with accurate dimensions, fold marks, and bleed areas. Logo positioning, typography, legal text, variable content areas. Exact print specifications including color profiles, paper weights, and finishing treatments. Deliver print-ready files that any manufacturer can execute without questions.
For Flavor Design, you develop three to five signature Tears cocktail recipes optimized for the miracle berry transformation. Exact specifications: spirit types and brands, precise ratios, specific citrus varieties. Test each recipe to confirm the sweet-shift effect is dramatic and consistent. Write bartender-friendly recipe cards with sourcing notes, preparation steps, timing, and presentation guidance.
You receive prototype learnings from the Product Development Imagineer and brand direction from the Brand & Validation Architect at the start of Round 2. Your Package Design goes to the Motion & 3D Expert in Round 3 for visualization.
Background required: Packaging design experience with print production knowledge. Mixology or beverage development background. Understanding of bar operations and what bartenders actually need. You should have created production-ready packaging and developed drink recipes professionally.
